Dr. Lauren Matteini believes firmly that the health of one’s spine is key to their overall well-being and works closely with her patients to assist them in achieving long-term optimal health. She specializes in care and treatment of the whole spine – cervical, thoracic, and lumbar areas. Working with both pediatric and adult patients, she utilizes both nonsurgical treatments and highly advanced surgical procedures to improve quality of life. Dr. Matteini particularly specializes in deformity correction, revision spine surgery, degenerative disc disease, scoliosis, disc herniation, nerve impingement, and stenosis. Minimally invasive and motion sparing techniques are also methods she utilizes for certain patients and disorders.
When not treating patients, Dr. Matteini enjoys traveling and lecturing at various universities, mentoring the younger generation, and educating life-long learners. Throughout her professional career, she has worked tirelessly for the advancement of spinal orthopedic treatments, with her findings published in various medical journals. When she has free time, Dr. Matteini is most often found enjoying yoga, working on jigsaw puzzles, bicycling, and/or spending time with family and friends.
